A slightly random post!

well hello there to all you bloggers...none of whom reply to any of my posts!!!
I have been back in York for over a week now and am beginning to settle in although it is taking a while and I am still missing home!! But I am assured that this is quite a normal reaction when you have been away for so long and then come back to a different house etc...!
At the momemnt there are just two of us living here but as of tomorrow we will be a full house of three!! Im quite looking forward to having all of us here again although I am slightly concerned that it will be hard to adjust again...but I guess we just have to get on with these things! And ultimately the three of us are good friends! so I am looking forward to it! When else do you have an opportunity to live with your closest friends other than at uni?! And you know what?...I love the fact that all of my friends live no more than a half hour walk away! How fab is that!! (At home most of my friends live further away than that!)
Anyway thats enought of the randomness!!
Love you all!

Morris Dancing!

Today I went into town with Helen and we sampled the delights of one of the few remaining English traditions...Morris Dancing!!

It reminded me of when I was about 3/4 my grandparents took me to the Botanical Gardens in Birmingham and there were some Morris Dancers there and my Grandad being the kind of man he is decided that he and I should join in...which we did!! And then when we got back home he got two brooms out and we did our own morris dancing in the back garden!! Ah such fun!!!

Ink Cartridges!!

Why are ink cartridges so expensive?!

I have just spent the past 2 hours wandering arround York trying to find somewhere that sells cheap ink cartridges...did it happen? well I guess so, in that the one I endded up buying was the cheapest I found it for!

I first tryed Argos and they were £15.29 for one black cartridge for a lexmark printer so I then set of in search of a better deal and could I find one?...not a chance!! I think the most expenssive I found it for was around £29!! Needless to say I went back to Argos, where they tried to sell it to me for £16.99...I took great plessure in telling them the actual price (£15.29) and they gave in!! But still I was deeply upset by how much it cost!! (But then I am hugely in my overdraft!! so any spending is bad at the mo!!)

*sigh*

Man I wrote alot about a really pointless subject!! hehe!

Back in York!

Well Im back in York for the start of my second year!!
My mum and Dad drove me up on Tuesday and they stayed the night in my house!! Then we spent the day together in York which was nice!! But then they had to leave me! :(
So at the moment im feeling a litle bit sad! But im ok and glad to be back! I just need to get used to living up here in a house!! Im in on my own for the first time at the moment and it feels good! :)
last night I was able to go to church (MVYork) which was really cool! It was great to see my friends again and to meet a new person!!
Today I got up slowly and my housemate has just gone out for the afternoon so I now have the house to myself!! I need to unpack my things - I am living out of plastic bags and a suitcase!! I think I might wander into the city centre later...need to go to poundland!! hehe!!
Anyway...thats enough for now!
Take care x x x

Packing!

Well its 3:30pm and I think I have just about finished packing for going back to uni...Its taken pretty much the whole day and there is still a little bit more stuff I need to find from arround the place!
Its crazzy the ammount of "stuff" I have managed to collect over the past year! My room at uni already has quite alot of my things in it already and yet I have still managed to fill three suitcases of clothes...two rucksacks with random bits and piceces...Several plastic bags with other essentials, for example bath/shower stuff, coathangers, bits and piceces i have brought for the house...and then there are the things I couldnt find bags for! - Dressing gown, blankets, pillows, towels and a few items of clothing that I forgot were on the washing line will now have to be carfully placed in loose in the car!! *sigh* Im glad this isn't a regular thing!

This is what the pile of my stuff looked like a few hours ago! Needless to say it has grown a far amount since the pic was taken!! lol! (I feel sorry for my dad - he has to load the car!!)

Summer's nearly over!

Well here we are folks its nearly the end of a long hot summer!
I have many highlights! Going to the beach for a random day out with Rach and Lizzie has to be my favourit memory from this summer-although I did get burt to a crisp!! What else?- Going to new wine and working in the market place was a new experience and it was great to share it with Helen! And then of course there is momentum, that was awsome although slightly tinged by the fact that I crashed the car into a bolard on the way down! Then it poured with rain, and I got ill!! But dispite all of that it was an amazing week and I lurnt loads! And at this point I just want to generaly point out that God is AWSOME!!!!

This past week I have been in Bodmin, Cornwall with my mum, dad and brother. It was a nice week and we saw many of the sights of cornwall including; the eden project, the sea and its surfers! lol!, we cycled on the camel trail and went to lands end!

Daniel poising for his photo!

Me and my sand Castle!

Some rocks (my dads there somewhere!)

The eden Project.

Take Care.
