The Minster Ball 2007!

Well Friday was the Minster Ball! Its a ball thats hosted buy York Uni CU and York St John Uni CU and its held in the beautiful York Minster!


I had a lovely time...It was great being able to dress up in a posh dress and see eveyone else looking stunning in their posh dresses and of course the guys in their suites!! It was a really good evening...

Lots to report!

Well since my last post I have been a very busy bee!! I shell start back on saturday 13th- I went to York opera house to see Chicago with my housemate which was really REALLY good! I loved it!! And on the way there Becky and I saw the actress who plays Ireane in Home and Away so that was quite exciting as we are both big H&A fans!! lol!!
Then last week I didn't do anything untill wednesday (17th) when I spent the morning with my friend Helen and then in the afternoon I went up to Clifton Moor (retail park) and had a wander round the shops and went to Tesco!! woo! Then in the evening had lifegroup/church which was cool (as always! lol).
Then on thursday my friend Lizzie (friend from B'ham) came to stay which was really lovely! We went to the cinema and just generaly spent time together!! Then on the friday we went to stay at her house in Manchester! I was able to see some friends who also live in Manc too which was cool as I havent seen them for AGES!!
Then this weekend I didnt really do alot although sunday I went to York designer outlet with Becky and Helen then went to church last night (managed to offened some people there by basicly-without realising it-saying 'my church is better than yours!! oops!!! I really didnt mean it though because actualy I thought it was a cool church!)
Then today I spent the day with my friend Rachael which was lovley...we went to a garden centre! hehe! Had a great day!!
This week I have lots planned...ending with the Minster ball on friday night which I cant wait for!!
So all in all, everything is good in the land of Sarah!! x x

Been back in York for five days now...its gone very fast! This week I have just had assesments. I think they went well although the performance of my composition could have gone better but thats always the way with these things! Its all over for another semester now though! And now I have two wonderful weeks free before semseter two starts!! :) yay!!

Bye Bye Christmas tree!

Well, Christmas is well and truly over...we took down our christmas tree today and all the decorations have been put away for yet another year! It has been a goo one though...I have been at home (in Birmingham) for three weeks which has been really cool. I have spent most of my time seeing family and friends which was nice! And I got lots of lovely things for chirstmas!

Yesterday I went to a place called Bicester with my mum and dad. (Bicester is a shopping outlet village about an hour away from where we live) We had a nice time and my mum and dad brought me some new trainers!! wooo!! Although they did buy my brother new trainers, jeans and a hoody and he didnt even come with us!! But hey I can't complain I did get mum and dad to myslef for the day. We went for lunch in a pub and then stopped in Warrick on the way home. (There is nothing there! Don't go unless you want to go to the castle - been there before and it is quite good!)

Today we are going to my grandparents house with my aunty and uncle and two cousins which will be nice....got quite abit of work to do before we go though! (Should probably get to it really!!)

Tomorrow will be spent packing to go back to York and might go to SBV in the afternoon but haven't decided yet!

Monday I am driving back to York and then am straigt back into uni life at 6pm with a meeting about a presentation I have to do on thursday!
