Birthday, Birmingham, York and Tesco!

Well hello there!!
Last week I went to Birmingham for a few days. I went last thursday as that was Daniel's (my brother) 18th Birthday!! Wooo!! While I was there I got to meet up with a few friends, go shopping with my nana and mum and go to the church I grew up in (sbv)!! So all in all it was a good few days!! I got back to York on monday and was thrown straight back into uni life as I haddnt even been back a hour and I was in Uni for a rehearsal!! Tuesday was spent in uni and then I had small group in the evening which was fun as it was a social and we ordered pizzia, played games, I lurnt four chords on the guitar and then we played truth or dare!! I shell say no more.....!!
Today I was in Uni untill 12 and then I went to a place called Clifton Moor (Its a retail park) with my friend Helen. While we were there I went to Tesco as I had no food becuase of being away last weekend!! (The situation was getting desperate!!) Then we got the Bus home and I got quite wet getting back to my house from the bus stop!! But im dry now (I would say warm and dry but that would be a lie as its frezzing in my house at the mo!!)
This eveing I am off bowlling with people from Church which should be fun...although looking out the window at the moment and seeing the rain and the grayness im very tempted to stay in!! I dont want to get cold and wet again!!!

My busy week!

For me to say that the past week has been busy would be the understatement of the year!!

Let me give you a brief idea of what I have been up to...

Monday- met up with a friend from uni to do some composition work then have chior and concert band untill 9pm.

Tuesday- in uni at 9am for World music untill 12 then had to book a room for small group then lunchtime concert at 12:30 till 1 then home Via Jacksons to buy nibbles for small group then had to go to sainsburys and buy paper plates and plastic cups! Then had clarinet ensemble then had to pick up DVD for small group then did small group followed buy the pub!!

Wednesday - in uni at 9am again for theories and context, then sainsburys, then church in the evening (got home at 1:15 am!)

Thursday - in uni at 11:30 for Composition then sign language at 5 till 7 then CU at 7:30 then small group leaders meeting!!

Friday- ooo didn't do much today! Went to Starbucks and read my book! But then had some unpleasent things to deal with later in the day that I shant go into!
Saturday - met a friend for coffee to disscuss our small group then spent the rest of the day buying Daniel his birthday prezzies!!

Sunday - Up at 6 am!! To get a train at 7:25 to Manchester only to discover my train is cancelled so had to wait another hour to get another train and then change at leeds...Finaly got to Manchester at 10:07! Where my church pastor from York picked me up and took me to manchester vineyard where a great time what had by all!! Then left manchester at 2:11 but only stayed on the train for one station because it was way to packed! So then I got off and waited 15 mins for the next train to York. Got back to York at 4:30 and went home. Then had a small group leaders meeting at 9pm!

Now I am VERY tired and need to go to bed!! But thought I should let you all in on my busy week...Its been very stressful to but I shant bore you with anymore details!! And it all starts again tomorrow!!

A slightly reflective post!!

So I have come to the end of my first two weeks of my second year!! And what a busy two weeks they have been!! My modules seem fairly interesting although I do have to do composition which isn't my favourit of musical tasks! But as I keep being told "Its all part of Gods plan and why im in York!" So Im just busy trusting that Gods got it sorted! But you know me I can't help but worry about the silly things!!
I am begining to feel more settled in York again now which is cool and am beginning to realise that its ok to feel at home in york and miss brum and its ok to feel at home in brum (when im there) and miss york and my friends respectivly!! So thats cool!!
Im going home in two weeks time for my brothers 18th birthday!! So that will be really nice as i will get to see my friends and family! Although I am slightly worried about how I will cope with coming back to York after going home for 4 days! But I guess there is no use in worrying about it untill (or if) it happens!! I guess thats all about trusting the Lord too! That he has my best interests at heart and that he will look after me!!! But thats the hard part!! TRUSTING HIM!! But he knows im trying!!
So, I feel like i should write something of a lighter note now!! hummm....let me think.....urmmm....ok so I really cant think of anything remotely amussing to say so I shell leave it there!!
